This Privacy Policy explains how RE5 Master collects, uses, stores, and deletes personal information when you use our mobile app, website, support channels, and payment flows.
RE5 Master is an educational study app for RE5 exam preparation. We do not sell your personal information.

Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect and store:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, Firebase user ID, and authentication status.
- Profile and onboarding information you choose to provide, such as study goals or preferences.
- Subscription and access information, such as plan type, payment status, access dates, cancellation requests, and support notes.
- Study activity, including progress, completed lessons, practice results, mock exam history, saved or starred content, and learning preferences.
- Messages or prompts you send to the study assistant, where applicable, so the app can provide educational responses and maintain your study experience.
- Feedback and support information, including issue reports, comments, ratings, and cancellation feedback.
- Technical information, such as app version, device type, crash or diagnostic information, and basic service logs needed to operate and secure the app.
Payments
Purchases made in the Android app are processed by Google Play Billing. Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple's in-app purchase system. Website and applicable organisation purchases may be processed by PayFast. RE5 Master does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
We use RevenueCat to verify app-store purchases and manage premium access. Your RE5 Master user identifier, purchase history, product identifiers, transaction references, purchase and expiry dates, and refund or cancellation status may be processed by RevenueCat and stored in our Firebase database. Purchase records are retained rather than processed only temporarily. We use them to unlock and restore access, handle refunds and support, prevent fraud, and analyse purchase performance. Existing valid access remains associated with your account when the payment provider changes.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide study content, progress tracking, mock exams, practice features, and premium access.
- To process subscriptions, once-off access, cancellations, and payment-related support.
- To respond to support, feedback, and deletion requests.
- To improve app reliability, security, content quality, and user experience.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and platform requirements.
Third-Party Services
RE5 Master uses Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, storage, database and backend functionality; Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat and PayFast for the payment and access functions described above; Resend or Firebase for email delivery; and Google's Gemini API for Maya study-assistant responses. When you use Maya, your submitted question and relevant conversation context are sent to Google to generate a response. Do not submit confidential information or personal information about yourself or other people in study-assistant prompts.
Service providers may process information outside South Africa. Their processing is subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices and the safeguards applicable to the service. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate RE5 Master, when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as needed to resolve payment, support, or account issues.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and keep business records. Study data and account data are generally deleted when your account deletion request is completed, unless we must retain limited records for legal, tax, accounting, chargeback, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
Your Choices
- You can stop using the app at any time.

Children
RE5 Master is intended for users preparing for professional regulatory exams. It is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect account, study, and subscription data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes or legal requirements evolve. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
